Standard configuration M1921 (400) as made and marked for the Spanish Guardia Civil, with its large, iconic crest on the slide above the usual Astra E/U logo. Shipped as part of a lot of 300 guns to the Guardia Civil in Madrid on 30 August 1924. Other markings as typical for the Astra 400 pistols with matching serial numbers on the slide, frame and barrel. Later marked "SPAIN" when exported. Fitted with the early Astra E/U hard rubber grips and comparably marked magazine with 7 indicator holes and a fixed floorplate. Synopsis: Astra 1921 (400) Spanish Guardia Civil of Madrid, matching Condition: VG original finish with holster wear as one would expect from a military/police pistol that has seen light/moderate use. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
