SCARCE .32 ACP CALIBER REMINGTON MODEL 51 SEMI-AUTO HAMMERLESS POCKET PISTOL, #64XXX, MADE 1921-1934. The standard caliber for this model was .380 ACP and production ran from 1918-1934 in a quantity of 54,500. The less common .32 ACP model saw a production of only10,200 in the serial range of 60801-70280 and 90501-92627. That would place this example as being made in the early first years of production. considered one of the finest, trim pocket autos ever made, this is a high condition example that retains abut all the blue, including the grip straps and edges. One would have to examine this pistol closely to find any appreciable blue wear. Exc. markings including the "32 CAL and 7.65 MM" stamping on the rear of the barrel visible in the ejection port. Exc. Remington/UMC embossed hard rubber grips. Original magazine is stamped "32 CAL" and retains most of the blue. Bright exc. bore, grip safety functions properly etc. A seldom seen, 100 year old limited production Remington product that would be hard to improve upon.
