Description:
This listing is for my George Lawrence brown leather western holster and belt. The holster is marked "The George Lawrence Co., Portland, Oregon, 79, 601". The belt is marked "The George Lawrence Co., Portland, Oregon, 79, 38, M". It fits a Colt SAA or similar revolver with 7 1/2 inch barrel or shorter. The belt loops are for 38 Special or 357 Magnum cartridges. Lawrence belts are usually marked S, M, or L for small, medium or large waists. This one is marked M and usually covers 34-38 waists, depending on how low you want the holster to ride. I have a 36 inch waist and the belt fits me well using the second hole from the end.
The holster and belt are backed with smooth dark brown leather. The inside of the holster itself is lined with smooth brown leather. The snaps on the holster are intact and work correctly. The original leather hammer thong and leather leg tie straps are present, both in excellent condition. All stitching is in good condition. The buckle and straps are in good condition. The belt has 25 cartridge loops for 38/357 cartridges. There are a few small scratches in the leather from use, but is still one of the nicest Lawrence rigs I have owned.
This would make a nice rig to carry your single action revolver or would make a nice looking rig to display the same. The price is $150. I will ship free by Insured Priority Mail shipping.
