Here we have an iconic and bulletproof Smith & Wesson Model 686-6 double action revolver in .357 Remington Magnum caliber. The Smith & Wesson 686 revolver can take a lifetime of full house .357 magnum loads. Recoil is reduced by the use of Hogue® Monogrip® grips. The 6 inch barrel has a bright bore and strong rifling. The front sight is ramped with a red insert and the rear is adjustable. This particular example has very light handling marks. Mechanically it works like it did the day it left the Smith & Wesson factory. The action is smooth and cylinder lock up is tight in the "fired" condition which is where it matters most. This beast of a revolver would make a great addition to a collection or an awesome first revolver...every collection needs a .357 magnum revolver and this one is hard to beat.
