Description:
Colt single action army 1st generation manufactured in 1901. Fully functional. The cylinder timing locks as it should. The bore is in great condition for its age and shows very minimal pitting with clear rifling. This is a 5.5" barrel. Metal appears to have been polished near the tip of barrel likely to remove surface rust at some point in its life. This appears to be a replacement barrel based on stampings. There is small blemish on the left side grip as pictured. This falls into the "fair" condition (Standard Catelog of Firearms) category based on condition and not original barrel and price reflects this. If you are looking for a nice origianl "shooter" gun, this is the gun for you. Consignment firearm.
