Here we have an extremely unique Belgium made revolver manufactured by Albert Spirlet in the Liege region. This fascinating revolver is chambered in .38 caliber and is unique in that the barrel hinges up rather than tipping up. Mechanically the revolver works perfectly and the period nickel plating is in very good overall condition with some areas of finish loss. Timing of the action is very good and lock up is excellent. The 5 3/4 inch barrel has a good bore with plenty of rifling. The wood grip panels are in outstanding condition being free of crack or chips. This turn of the century revolver would make an excellent addition to an existing collection or a strong way to start a new collection.
