Description:
The 16 1/8" parkerized blade is in Excellent Condition with almost all of it’s finish with only slight signs use or of sharpening. The blade edge is nick free ending in a slightly rounded point. The black Bakelite grip is free of chips or cracks with minimal use. The machete comes with its original leather sheath, again unmarked, in excellent condition which shows light wear and is fully functional with tight stitching and pliable leather. These machetes were apparently issued exclusively in USAAF bail out kits and not an OSS issue as previoulsy thought.
