J. C. Higgins Model 30 - Semi - Auto .22 LR Rifle - Smooth walnut 2 piece pistol grip style stock and extended forend. 24 In. long barrel, 41.5 overall length . 15 LR capacity tubular magazine. Butt pad in excellent condition. Open rear adj. sight and a ramped front blade sight. Receiver grooved for scope. Includes a New Barska 4x20 Scope with rings and a priority rail adapter that will fit 7mm to 21mm rings. Bore is clean and bright. Stock has a built - in red 1 in. wide retractable sling in excellent condition. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 80% to 85% bluing. ( Some light rust spots have been removed and re- blued on barrel and magazine tube. ) Stock and forend are in very good condition with minimal handling marks. This stylish rifle was built by High Standard for J.C. Higgins from 1950 to 1953 .
