For your consideration we have a October 1942 Production Colt 1911A1. WB Final Inspection of Col. Waldmar Broberg. Nice original finish with numbers matching slide and Colt Large G barrel with matching wear patterns.
Small parts that appear incorrect are the hammer, spring tube.
Overall a very scarce pistol to find with matching slide.
