Description:
Remington Model 8 in 25 Remington. Serial # 31380 dates to manufacture in 1912. Features a 22” barrel with some light pitting in the bore. The lands and grooves are quite visible. The outer barrel is dent / rust free. The bluing is good for 111 years old, with some spotty plum and thin areas overall. There is an area of light pitting on the barrel just behind / right of the front sight. The stock and forearm are crack free and appear to be in the original finish. Overall, the English stock and forearm are nice for the age with just the usual use marks and scratches. Nice plastic butt plate. The rear sight is an unusual adjustable peep, manufacturer unknown, unmarked. Original rear sight needs a screw. Please review the pictures and email me ask questions.
