1985 Land Rover Defender 110
  • 200 TDI Turbo Diesel, Head gasket, timing belt, injector pump, waterpump, lift pump, turbo all replaced when the motor was installed at 123k miles along with all VDO gauges (odometer). It has 18k miles since. It was built for extensive travel in the outback not to be 'flipped' like so many, extremly well sorted out. In the last year Ive had it Ive put a new Battery, Brake Master, Calipers, Pads, Rotors, All Belts and Fluids. Starts and runs first bump of the ignition every time, I drive this daily in and out of town.

IF you found a Defender 110 in this clean a shape, rust free in all the common areas, you would easily spend double building this truck. The former owner was an extensive off road enthusiast and built his truck for serious travel-see photos all over Austrailia outback. He loved his truck so much he brought it with him from Saudi Arabia to Austrailia. This one well sorted and has been my daily driver for close to a 19mo's now. Whether it has sat for a week or freezing outside it starts immediately first bump of the key every time. Ill take this truck anywhere without hesitation. A mjor change in storage situation has required I thin the herd.
