Description:
The Stevens Model 417 "Ideal" Heavy Target Rifle was manufactured between 1932 and 1940. This gun is in excellent overall condition showing only light use. Wood stock is solid and excellent showing only a couple light marks in oil finished wood. Left side of buttstock has small dots all over that look like they may be stain. Original blue remains excellent with a small amount of oxidation on left receiver. Bore is excellent. Gun features sling swivels and original front globe sight. Stevens 19" Tube scope is attached. Pistol Grip is stamped "J.F.". This is a very unique gun in excellent condition. Still the choice for target shooters! No box. Very unique piece of history! .22 Long Rifle
