Offered for sale is a 12-gauge Weatherby Athena Grade IV over/under shotgun with 26” matte rib ventilated barrels, 3” chambers, a single brass bead and interchangeable choke tubes. This Athena was manufactured in 1991 for Weatherby by SKB in Japan. This is a boxlock shotgun with beautifully engraved satin nickel finished scrollwork panels and a Greener crossbolt. The full pistol grip stock, with rosewood cap, and forearm are made of hand checkered Claro walnut with a high luster finish. This Weatherby also features a gold SST with barrel selector and a safety tang. The Weatherby vented brown rubber butt pad is original. Measurements include LOP 14 1/4, DAC 1 1/2, DAH 2 1/2 and weighs 7 lbs. and 8 oz. This gun is in excellent, like new condition, likely never shot and comes with its original box and manual. It would be a great addition to any collection.
