Fresh From a Minnesota Estate.
Colt 1911 SN#229078 Shipped February 6th, 1918 to Springfield Armory. This pistol is one of the last to bear the GHS Final Inspection Mark as the JMG stamp was used starting at approximately 230xxx.
Original finish with a high percentage still remaining. All Original small parts including the P H barrel with matching wear patterns. Front sight has been neatly filed down. Overall a great piece manufactured at the height of the US involvement in World War One.
