This Springfield Garand M-1 was mfg in 1943. It has all of the correct component parts for that period.
It is a Collector Grade and should appeal to the ardent Garand Collector. The action is normal and cycles correctly. The Gun Metal is all correct w/the surfaces having the military parkerized surfaces or black oxcide coating. The buttstock has the correct cartouches of "SA/GAW w/ the adjacent Ordanance Stamp & matching
upper & lower hand guards. The bore is shiney and has distinct rifling and Meas "1-" w/the throat Meas "1'.
