Added to our pre-owned rifle inventory today is this Winchester Model 1873 from 1896 in .38-40 Winchester. The lever-action rifle with 26-inch barrel wears serial number 500445, dating it from 1896. See copy of factory letter in this listing’s photo gallery.
We performed restoration work in 2008, including new stocks, new barrel, and all period-correct finishes.
Shows some handling marks since 2008. Otherwise very well-maintained after restoration.
