FACTORY ORIGINAL PARKER BROS VH GRADE 12 GAUGE TWO BARREL SHOTGUN WITH VULCAN 30" AND 28" BARRELS BOTH SERIAL NUMBERED TO GUN, CIRCA 1901. Recently acquired factory records letter states it was originally ordered by named gentleman in 1901 as described including current dimensions along with 2nd barrel serial numbered to gun and requested at same time. As requested in letter cyl/cyl chokes are correct in 28" and Full/Full in 30" set. Letter also states 3" chambers which is nice. This piece and its 2nd barrel have never been refinished nor has its original wood been touched up in any way. It is solid about the wrist with NO structural anomolies or repairs. Checkering is untouched and mellowing nicely as with rest of responsibly used shotgun. Barrels have the original blue on both with crisp addresses and rib checkering. Both barrels lock up tight on face. Double triggers, Auto safety, period "Trusport" rubber vent rib pad still pliable and ready for another 100 years. From local sporting family I've known for 40+ years. Dimensions are 14" LOP, drop at comb 1 5/8", and at heel 2 3/4". Weighs 7 1/4 lbs as corroborated by letter. Honest true to form Parker ready for more adventures.
