Unsure of origin of this particular Paterson. Most definitely not an artificially aged Italian reproduction. 36c, 5 shot other 7 1/2" Bbl. It is well known that John Ehlers purchased all left over inventory after Colt's Bankruptcy after Ehlers initial production of the Paterson's for Colt. Most all were late models built from leftover parts and sometimes had No Barrel address or even serial numbers sometimes. No finish with crusty patina. Gun show's significant age. Marked "Ehlers" on frame. Barrel address is worded correctly but not correct style and appears to have been added some time after Gun was made. Serial number 921. Good bore and functions fine. Very late 5th Mdl with rounded cylinder shoulders and oval cyl stops. Selling as an older copy of the famous Texas Paterson.
