Description:
This two band Enfield is a Pattern 1860 variant which has iron mounts (vs. the usual brass you see on the buttplate, triggerguard, and nosecap on the other Enfield variants). Overall this one is in good shape with good wood overall aside from the underside forward of the triggerguard exposing the end of the ramrod channel (see pic), as well as wood loss from the rear and front of the nipple where you would expect to see wear from a well used firearm. No sling swivels on this one and a screw was insered at the end of the triggerguard where the rear swivel would otherwise be. This one includes a saber bayonet (which fits), as well as a numbered ramrod (see pic). This ramrod is not original to the gun but is a collector's item in and of itself coming from one of the serial numbered import guns.
