Description:
For sale is an antique Winchester 1885 High Wall made in 1887. It is barreled with an octagon #1 contour and 28" length. The bore is dark with strong rifling and shoots very well with both jacketed and cast bullets. The metal finish on the barrel is turning grey and has a few dings and scratches typical of a 125 year old gun. The receiver and crescent buttplate still shows faint signs of color case. The wood shows various dings and bruises and one noticeable dark spot (pictured) on the left side of the buttstock comb. There are no cracks or splits in the stocks and one small chip missing on the top left wrist at the receiver. A Cody Museum letter is included with the gun. This is an antique and may be shipped to you directly provided it is legal at your locale. Shipping is via USPS ground insured and tracked for $85. Sales to Alaska may require additional charges.
