EXCEPTIONAL WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 SADDLE RING .44 HENRY RF CAL. CARBINE. 20” barrel with factory original Carbine front and rear sights. All original in excellent plus to near mint condition with nearly all the original blue and much of the casehardening on the hammer and lever. Beautiful brass frame with perfect edges and nice original mellow color. Stock and forend in superb condition with all the original finish. Markings in mint condition with barrel address and caliber marking like day they were stamped. All original screws in excellent condition. Excellent bright bore with sharp rifling and in perfect working order. Original Winchester tang sight and original Winchester cleaning rod in butt compartment. With factory letter stating it was received in the warehouse December 7, 1891 and shipped from the warehouse August 13, 1898. Shows very little use and is the nicest Winchester 1866 Saddle Ring Carbine we have had in 20 years.
