Description:
This British Enfield Model No. 4 Mark I bolt action rifle in .303 British is in overall very good condition. The blued barrel and receiver frame are very good. The blued 25 1/4" barrel is excellent with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The trigger does have a take-up then a long pull with a crisp positive release. The smooth dark hardwood is good with various dings of use and handling. The No. 4 Enfield was manufactured in England, the U.S., Canada and New Zealand. This example was manufactured in Long Branch Canada in 1942. All No. 4 Enfield rifles were manufactured from 1941 to 1957 when production ended. This Enfield rifle comes with one, ten(10) round detachable magazine, but does not come with a box or any accessories. .303 British
