Description:
This is a pair of Manhattan Navy series IV black powder cap & ball 1864-1867 5 shot revolvers. One is very tight #55820 the other is loose and would need a new cylinder rod fitted and wedge. Both have all matching serial numbers 43564 - 55920, # 43564 has one line name and address on barrel " earlier mfg. date, the other two line name and address on the barrel making it a little later. Engraving on the cylinders of both guns are faded but sciens can be made out, the barrel on #43564 is light marks of rifling but is rough from black powde but the chambers look good. The barrel rifling on #43564 is in quite nice shape but showes some pitting.
