Description:
26 inch Winchester factory barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain 98% plus nice quality soft satin blue finish. Receiver rings showing some light pinprick pitting beneath the finish with more so on the right side. The bolt is numbered to a different gun. Beautifully restocked in classic style with a very nice grade of American black walnut showing fiddleback figure overall. Left side cheekpiece. Borderless checkered panels with a rosewood forend tip. Hard rubber pistolgrip cap with insert and a red Pachmayr "White Line" ventilated recoil pad. Sights include a brass bead on matted ramp at the front with a folding rear. Barrel has 2 holes drilled, tapped and plugged for a target block just ahead of the rear sight boss and the receiver rings have factory holes with filler screws. Features Brunner’s signature checkered panel on the bolt release for more positive operation.
