Description:
N Guyot 16 gauge often called "The Purdey of Paris" . This is a very high quality gun that would sell for 2-3x if it had a London name ! It has a front articulated trigger . .Stock is nicely firgured French walnut with a 1 1/8" extention (this guns ONLY drawback!!)Barrels are Nitro Proofed for 2 3/4" shells and are in very good condition with 85% original bluing. They have good Wall thicknesses and are choked IC/MOD .Engraving is Purdey Style Rose & Scroll and is sharp except for trigger tang which is slightly worn as one would expect for a gun of this age (around 75 years old) I will include a $75 Galco slip-on recoil pad which will cover extention and give you a LOP of 15" if desired. There is another on GI in 12 Gauge just like this one for more than twice my price making this one a real bargain . Why would you pay 4K + for a Spanish gun that is engraved by a machine ? This 16 gauge would make a wonderfull Upland Gun ...don't let it get away !! Shipping $50 to your FFL.
