Payment Types Accepted: Cash, Check, USPS Money Order Description: The Harrington & Richardson (H&R) story is a little confusing beginning in 1871 and ending in 2015 when H&R 1871, LLC (then a part of Remington Outdoor Company) ceased production. Based on its serial number, corporate marking, and manufacturing location, it seems that this revolver, which is no longer produced, is an H&R Inc. Model 929 Sidekick (NOT Second Model), .single-action/double-action, nine-shot, .22LR caliber revolver and potentially somewhat of a collectors’ item. It has 4-inch barrel, fluted cylinder, .3/8-inch-wide hammer, ¼-inch-wide smooth-face trigger, white plastic grips (original), fixed front and rear sights. The year of manufacture is 1969. Though it is a Sidekick, that word is not stamped anywhere on the gun. Based on it condition, it was hard for me to believe that this gun is 54 years old. The overall condition of the gun itself is 100 percent, like new. The metal is 100 percent with no marks or other signs of wear. It does not even have a cylinder-lock ring. I don’t think the gun has been fired, but I cannot verify that. The checkered white plastic grip panels are original and are also 100 percent. There are NO box, papers, or other accessories with this gun. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $25 for USPS Priority Mail and $8.60 per the USPS insurance schedule. Thus, the total purchase price, postage, and insurance is $383.60 The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as it is like cash, and I don’t have to wait for it to clear. I will ship the revolver immediately upon receipt of USPS money orders and an FFL. However, I will also accept a personal check and other types of money orders, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. Check or money order must be made payable to Jerry Pownall or Barboursville Arms. SOLD |
