Standard configuration and externally matching Bern K31 rifle, made 1942, reworked at Lucern Arsenal, with tangent rear sight graduated 1-15, straight pull bolt, detachable magazine, and metal buttplate. The left side of receiver is marked 711560 the same number repeated on the bolt and on the bottom of the magazine, the last three digits on the barrel that is import marked. Tang marked with an “LU” (Lucern). Walnut stock marked with an encircled 8 (Lucern Arsenal symbol). Metal buttplate. Military Sling dated “62”. Synopsis: Swiss Bern K31, Military Rifle, Lucern Rework, 711560, I-1070 Condition: VG+ condition with handling and fading commensurate with a rifle that has seen moderate service use. Mirror bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
