SALE PENDING - 20240216 - This is an excellent example of a limited production Smith & Wesson Model 29 in 44 magnum. The total production target of 3000, which was never achieved, included a polished stainless steel version, the Model 629 Magna Classic. Regardless, this is an item that is not often available, particularly in this condition. The finish has been polished to a higher luster than normal for the Model 29 and the barrel is 7 ½-inches long. Gun has been fitted with target hammer, target trigger and wood finger-groove combat grips with S&W medallions. The original S&W Revolver box, manual, unopened box of tools, factory documents, presentation case, black box with seven additional front sights, case key and a certificate from S&W are provided. A previous owner did cycle the action causing a slight cylinder ring. This gun has not been fired beyond factory proofing. It would be very difficult to upgrade. This will be shipped in the original factory shipper with correct S&W label with all internal shipping materials. Shipping/insurance to the lower 48 states is included in the purchase price; additional shipping fees apply for Alaska and Hawaii. Item will be shipped by an FFL; an FFL is required to purchase.
