I am offering either a full set of these heavy duty Foraging baskets from Unk Tribe- woven by reed & young Saplings . I purchased these roughly 50+ yrs. ago at an Estate Sale in Wyoming..These appear to be of Northern Plains tribe..possibly Lakota..or Cree-Chippewa(??)-others. The listing tag(s) stated 1870's + I cannot offer any more data as I have owned-displayed these artifacs over many decades and my memory is not accurate 84yrs.--I have other Native artifacs excavated but are from Aztec-Huastec-Myan-Pre-Columbian(Mexico)..perhaps ca. 100B.C..!-Figurines...NOTE:..This listing is for these BASKETS primarily..the OTHERS are included separately- The knives came from several Tribes-ALL Northern Plains-there is (1) extremely RARE blade crafted from FLINT-sharp and bearing NO damage over ages of use...! This is the largest hand crafted knife I have owned & 1 small basket Navajo(?) finely woveen from unk. very fine pine needles.// Shipping determined by address provided..//ALL responses replied to.//NOTHING SHOWN is Repro in ANY fashion.//Books may be purchased individually $20.00 ea. +mailing.
