Description:
This is an older British double made by the Charles Osborne firm. It has 30" fluid steel barrels and is choked in the typical older British IC and Full. The chambers are 2 1/2", popular of the time period. 2 1/2" shotgun ammunition readily available from a number of sources here in the US.
It is a double trigger gun with a tang safety. DAC is about 1 5/8 and DAH is 2 5/8, with LOP of 13 1/2" to a horn buttplate. Weight is a bit over 6 1/2 lbs. An initials oval is inlaid into the buttstock. When the barrels are mounted, there is a slight play between the barrrel set and receiver, but it locks up tight when the forarm is attached. The lever is still centered when the action is closed, so there's still a lot of life left in this old girl.
