What I have here is an excellent example of a sweet sixteen. According to my research built in 1956. Appears to be choked improved modified. 28" barrel. Its in exceptional shape, the blueing is almost perfect. You can see the typical loss where the barrel slides into the forearm nothing major. Honestly you couldn't improve much on this gun. Here's the signs of useage. There's a scuff on the forend. Someone has done a crappy job on fitting a buttpad. Stock has been shortened. Other than that it's great. You don't see many like this. It's sat the majority of its life in the far back corner of a safe.
