FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION No. 3 SINGLE SHOT IN SCARCE .30-40 KRAG CALIBER, #130-53XXX, MADE 1973. This one comes with the Ruger instructions and parts list as well as the warranty card- interestingly, the instruction booklet is dated in the lower right hand corner 10-8-72! No box with this one, but in about new condition overall. This is a pre-warning rifle and has the early metal butt plate. Every No.3 I've encountered was accurate right out of the box. Getting hard to find and prices are climbing rapidly as these gain collector status especially in the scarcer calibers like this one.
