Description:
Superb example of S&W’s first semi-automatic pistol, made from 1913-1921, total production about 8,350 pistols. Fixed half moon front sight and notch rear sight. There are two safeties, a revolving cam on the backstrap and a second variation grip safety on the front strap. The top strap is marked with the three line address/patent dates; the left side of the barrel is marked "35 S&W AUTO CTG.", the tang areas on each side of the frame are marked with the S&W Trademark logo, and the serial number is on the front strap. Smooth walnut grips, each panel secured with a single screw at base. Seven round detachable magazine. Complete with an original Smith & Wesson box. Synopsis: Excellent Scarce Smith & Wesson Model 1913 .35 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Box Condition: Excellent+, with over 99% bright polished original blue finish, having only a few tiny handling marks. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Box is very good with storage and handling marks as well as a separated corner on the lid.
