Description:
Winchester 61. SN 238944. Up for sale is a solid Winchester Model 61 made in 1956. The discription--- the stock has a couple of very light marks on the left side of the stock---finish all original--a couple of light marks on the right side of the stock---buttplate shows light blue wear on the top---the screws are clean and there is no rust or defects---left side of the receiver has some sign of rust speckles that have been rubbed with grease----there is no sign of sanding or polishing to try and remove specks---blue wear on the operating slide---wood forearm is very clean as is the blue on the barrel and magazine tube.---proof marks on the top of the receiver are crisp and the scope mounting grooves show no sign of a scope being mounted.---blue on the right side of the receiver is very clean with some very very light speckles on the front of the ejection port. A good solid Winchester that had the misfortune of some poor storage for a short time that speckled the receiver. Please add 35.00 freight and insurance.
