Description:
Winchester Model 12 SN. 1177186. Built in 1948. Up for sale is a very unique Model 12 Trap Model 3" magnum. This gun was built in an era when Winchester Model 12s with labels such as "Trap" or "Skeet" referred to a gun with features that added some dress up to the gun. The description: the stock is highly figured with deep color and burl to the wood.... there are some light handling marks on both sides of the stock.... the original solid recoil pad is in excellent condition and factory stock weight is installed and intact...the stock is factory checkered and the points are crisp and sharp....no cracks or defects...the rust blued receiver shows wear on the sharp edges and the blue is a solid 95%.the barrel is 30" full choke with a solid rib attached ...there is a silver center bead and an ivory front bead installed...there is a variable Poly-Choke installed on the muzzle end of the barrel...the barrel extention is marked " Model 12- TRAP " .... the forearm is factory centered and is solid with no cracks or defects.
