Description:
Fine early antique Parker DH 12ga, this gun made for a noted sporting artist, Hal Morrison and so noted in the PGCA research letter. The gun is a factory original two barrel set, both fine damascus, on 28" and the other 30". Each set numbered "1" and "2" and specifically ordered that way along with the original checkered side panels. The gun made with double triggers, extractors, auto safety, straight English butt and terminates with its original skeleton buttplate. Gun is housed in a proper full leather two barrel set oak and leather case with red felt interior. This gun matches its PGCA research letter exactly as found today.
The gun remains in excellent original condition overall. The barrels retain about 90% of their black and white damascus pattern. The receiver has crisp engraving with traces of original color remaining. Stocks are sound and original with handling marks, checkering is original and untouched. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. Case is excellent.
Parker factory original two barrel sets are rare and hard to find. This one has great provenance and is worthy of additional research.
