Here's a Excellent Example of a Special Order Gun made for the N.R.A. ! They came with a 24" barrel with no bayonet lug . They where made only in 30-03 and 30-06 calibers . Special sights and a special butt plate ! These guns where Approved by the N.R.A. For Military Type Competitions . Competition gun. Serial number 79931 . Gun is in excellent condition overall. Has most of the solid blue finish still remaining. The rest of the finish is thinning to a nice grey blue patina . Sharp markings . Original sights . Original Wood stocks are in Excellent Condition. Bore and mechanics are in excellent condition. Gun is in excellent working order! You don't see these N.R.A. Muskets that often.
