The SAKO Forester has a long history with hunters in Europe and the Americas. This one is the Mauser bolt version and features the claw extractor, internal box magazine with hinged floor plate, a medium heavy 'varmint rifle' walnut Monte Carlo stock. The date of manufacture is traced by s/n to about 1968. .243 Winchester

Metal Condition: Very good. There is some 'rack rash' on the barrel.
Wood Condition: Very good. There are a number of shallow dents and scratches indicative of a 'hunted' gun.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright with good rifling.
