Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber and special order half length magazine. Bright bore with good rifling. Original sights include a German silver blade front and a typical sporting rear. Overall gun retains about 80% blue. A good amount of original case color on the hammer and lever. About 40% nitre blue remains on the loading gate. Walnut stocks are in fine condition as well with some scattered handling mars and a trapdoor crescent buttplate. Cleaning rod is present. Mechanics are excellent. These 2nd Model 1873's are not as easily found these days especially in above average condition as this one is. Made in 1880.
