2 Bronze Sculptures and a Bronze Belt Buckle are offered in this lot
1) Charles Marion Russell (1864-1926) , "Smoking with the Spirit of the Buffalo", depicting a Native American man with pipe and upturned gaze, sitting before a buffulo skull. Mounted on a black marble base. Impressed signature, "CM Russell" and the intials "RBW" for Roman Bronze Works. 5"H x 8 1/4" L. Provenance: Private collection. Condition: Bronze overall very good condition.
2) THE LAST LAUGH BY CHARLES MARION RUSSELL (AMERICAN, 1864-1926).
Bronze, inscribed "C.M. Russell" and foundry mark reading "B. Zoppo Foundry, N.Y." on back edge. A cautious wolf circles a human skull. 4"h. 7.5"w.
