Description:
Based on the serial number, this one was born in the year 2000. It is in excellent condition overall. The Scout rail and slotted handguard have been removed, replaced by a USGI vented handguard. The factory stock has been removed and replaced by a "big red" USGI proofed and DOD stamped birch stock. Buttplate assembly is USGI as well. Bolt is SA forged. Rear sight assembly is USGI, BME marked. Front sight is NM, .062. A Sadlak Airborne (choice of the US military) scope mount has been professionally installed, and the irons can be used with the mount in place. The 18 1/2" barrel is perfect for the .308 cartridge, as at that length all of the powder is burned, so the bullet should be freed to chase its target downrange. Clean as a whistle and good to go! Comes with three factory 20 round mags and paperwork and parts pertaining to the Sadlak. $50 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
