Description:
Colt Model 1902 Military chambered in 38 ACP with a 6 inch barrel. It is interesting to note that this one is a very late gun to still retain the charcoal blue finishing process with nitre blue small parts. This pistol remains in high condition. It has the correct full blue magazine with an unmarked base plate. The original finish still retains a deep dark shine throughout. The nitre blue small parts are strong as is the color casing on the hammer. As seen in the photos it shows various areas of light and scattered handling and a trace of thinning in a few areas but there are no major detractions. Overall it rates 95%. The slide to frame fit is tight with zero wiggle. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The chamber area is very clean. The factory grips are exceptional with sharp checkers throughout and just a couple of tiny handling marks. This pistol will be tough to upgrade.
