Description:
Guns Listing ID: 776252

This original government issued M1 Carbine was manufactured by Saginaw, Saginaw Gear Works div. of General Motors, between May 1943 and Feb. 1944. It has the original barrel with the Saginaw stamp a Blue Sky import mark indicating that it was part of the lend/lease program and went on to South Korea after WW II. It appears that the sling and oiler are original GI parts. The magazine is a WWII production 15 rounder marked KI, meaning it was manufactured by Inland. The wood stock is an original military stock with typical wear. There is a slight discoloration on the right side near the rear sling attaching point, possibly where there was a sticker with a rack number. The bore has strong rifling and no visible pitting. This should make a great shooter and a wonderful addition to your WWII collection.
