The action bodies are adorned with rose bouquets and scrolls and beaded fences. The bottoms of the lockplates are engraved "J PURDEY & SONS LONDON ENGLAND". Blacked scroll engraved top levers with "1" and "2" in gold inside an oval with both sides checkered thumb pieces and "SAFE" gold inlay on top tangs ahead of engraved and checkered slide safties. Double triggers protected by engraved trigger guards, cocking indicators, disc-set strikers and automatic safeties. Well figured reddish-brown walnut stocks with checkered English straight hand grips and drop points. The straight hand grips are supported by long engraved bottom straps with serial numbers. Splinter forends with matching checkering and Anson style push button releases. The exterior steel of forends are similarly engraved. Forend tips with "1" & "2" in gold. Guns come in the makers double leather motor case.
