For consideration is a very nice High Standard Dura-matic M-101 semi auto pistol in .22 long rifle. This is a well kept example of that much desired and very collectible “SPACE GUN'”, so called because of its unique retro space age appearance. High Standard made extremely high quality rimfire pistols and this M-101 is an example of one of their most basic and utilitarian models. This model is interesting in that the plastic faux wood grips are made in one piece and the opening for the magazine is referred to as the "magazine tunnel". This particular pistol is in very good mechanical and overall physical condition. It exhibits some high edge and muzzle wear but nothing severe. Everything works as it should and everything still operated positively and snappy. The one piece grip is in very good condition having no cracks, chips or even dents.....this pistol has been well cared for over the years. The 4 1/2" barrel is bright with strong rifling. This fine High-Standard would make a great walkabout pistol or an addition to round out a High Standard collection. Leather holster is included and is in good condition with a few scuffs earned over the years.
