Description:
I purchased this rifle new around 2010. It is a post 64 controled round feed action made in the New Haven plant. After purchase i installes a barrel band front sight and a stock from the Winchester Custom Shop and had Custom Diamonds of Montana checker it. The rifle was then sent to Hill Country rifles of Texas where they accurized it and installed a Timney trigger. This cost $614 in 2011. The invoice will be included. The rifle has Talley bases and Talley quick detachable rings, and a Leupold vx3 2.5-8 scope. I am a avid handloader and proceeded to conduct numerous load test. the rifle is very accurate and i will include my test targets with the rifle. The rifle has been on four African safaris and has taken numerous planes game as well as a cape buffalo. I love the rifle but as i am now 76 years old, i dont see another Africa trip in my future. The rifle with bases is $2400. The scope with rings is $350. I have cases, reloading dies and bullets. if you buy the rifle we can discuss the purchase of the bullets and reloading tools. 3 day non firing inspection period.
