Description:
This Winchester Model 70 was manufactured in 1952 and remains in excellent overall condition. Wood is solid with a few light use marks and scratches with a few light areas of flaking finish. Original blue is very good with some marks on floorplate and trigger-guard from age and use and some blue loss on bolt knob. Top of receiver is drilled and tapped with some residue left from scope mount fixative. This is a Controlled Round Feed gun with an excellent bore. Sling swivels remain in place. No box. Still a very nice gun in desirable .22 Hornet caliber! .22 Hornet
