Relatively scarce first variation Danish contract M49, high polish blue with drift adjustable front and rear sights, serial range 1-16607 made between 1948-1951. Left side of slide with SIG logo. Left frame is marked with the cal, model reference, and crown/HTK. The full serial number is on the right side of the barrel, slide, frame, and original hammer group with no half cock. Wood serrated grips secured with a single transverse fire blued screw. Lanyard ring present. High polished magazine. No shipping box. Synopsis: SIG manufactured M49, first Danish contract, original condition Condition: VG-EXC with sharp edge and holster wear in usual locations. Front strap with minimal thinning. Original finish grips with handling marks as photographed. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
