We offer you a “Longhorn” High Standard 9-Shot .22 Long Rifle Single Action Revolver with a Swing-Out Cylinder and 9 ½ inch Barrel.
The pistol was made in the early 1960’s and is C&R transferable. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number “M027679”. The right side of the barrel is marked “HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. / HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A. / .22 CAL”. The left side reads “LONGHORN / CONVERTIBLE”. The pistol only has the .22 long rifle cylinder assembly with it.
The bluing shows wear, surface marks and thinning from long time holster use. The original grips are in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The bore on the 9 ½ inch barrel is excellent with no issues. The timing and lockup are fine and it shoots very well.
***PLEASE NOTE***
The white in the marking is just grease pencil that can be removed with a cloth, gun oil and some elbow grease.
