Standard configuration P226, with nitron finished slide and early design night sights made for the Thurgau Police. Left side slide is marked “SIG SAUER". Large, bold Thurgau Canton emblem on top. Right side of slide marked with model and serial number. Right side of matching barrel is marked with the caliber. The full serial number repeated for the third time, on the right side of the frame. Fitted with SIG Sauer grips with textured surface marked with the model (left side) and manufacturer (right side). Magazine made by SIG Sauer, with zippered spine, and marked with three indicator holes numbered “5, 10, 15 ”. Synopsis: SIG Sauer P226, Night Sights, Swiss, Thurgau Police. Condition: Excellent original condition with minor sharp edge wear and a few superficial scuffs. Negligible thinning of frontstrap. Comparable condition grips, magazine showing insertional wear as photographed. Near mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
